In Zambia, single-parent households are common, whether due to divorce, the loss of a spouse, or children born outside of marriage. For many single mothers, factors like limited education, unstable employment, and insufficient financial support make it difficult to maintain a stable household. As a result, these families often face severe poverty. The children in these homes frequently miss school, struggle with malnutrition, and live in cramped conditions—sometimes in spaces as small as 150 square feet.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to these single-parent families, addressing not only their immediate needs but also their long-term well-being. By offering educational opportunities, improving economic stability, and nurturing their social and spiritual health, we aim to create lasting, positive change that empowers these families to break the cycle of poverty and build a more sustainable future.
